What matters more than the brand

  1. 01

    Choose an inverter unit

It slows down instead of switching on and off, so it is quieter, steadier and cheaper to run. Every unit we fit is an inverter.

  2. 02

    Check the noise rating

For bedrooms, look for an indoor unit around 20–25 dB(A) on its lowest setting. That is roughly a whisper.

  3. 03

    Read the efficiency label

Seasonal ratings (SEER for cooling, SCOP for heating) matter more than the peak figures. Higher is better.

  4. 04

    Plan the outdoor unit

It needs airflow, a solid wall or stand and access for servicing. Balconies work well; tight corners do not.

  5. 05

One unit per room beats one big unit

Air doesn’t turn corners well. Two small units usually cool two rooms better than one large unit in the hallway.
