Questions people ask
How does the free trial work?
You join the first lesson of a real group as a guest. If you like it, you keep your place and pay before the second lesson. If not, that is it: no payment and no follow-up calls.
How accurate is the level check?
It is a quick guide: eight questions from A1 to B2. It is good at telling A1 from B1 and less good at fine distinctions. Your teacher confirms your level in the trial lesson and can move you to another group free of charge.
How do instalments work?
Courses of €250 or more can be paid in three equal monthly instalments, the first before the course starts. Shorter courses can be split in two. There is no interest and there are no fees.
What if I miss a lesson?
Every lesson’s notes and practice sheet go on the shared online board. In group courses you can also join one lesson of a parallel group per term, when there is a free place.
Can I change group after I start?
Yes, within the first two weeks, if the other group has a free place. Your fee carries over, and if the new course costs less we refund the difference.
Can I cancel?
Cancellation is free until the first paid lesson. After that, we refund unused lessons if you have to stop for health or work reasons.
What do I need for online lessons?
A laptop or tablet with a camera, and headphones. The video room runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install. Times are always Sofia time (EET/EEST).
Do I get a certificate?
You get a letter of attendance with your level and the hours you studied. We are not an exam centre and do not issue accredited certificates.
Are books included?
Yes. Course book chapters as PDF with audio, and weekly practice sheets, are included in every fee. In-person learners can ask for a printed copy.
